Nagaland : ‘Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS)’ To Be Launched On October 14

The Nagaland Government is all set to launch the ‘Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS)’ on October 14; with the aim to provide free and cashless benefits to every bona-fide citizen of Nagaland for treatment of various ailments. 

According to an official statement, the Department of Health & Family Welfare noted that the administration has embarked on the journey towards Universal Health Coverage.

Besides, all AHoDs, HoD & government officials, representatives of Nagaland Pensioners Association, Confederation of All Nagaland State Services Employees’ Association (CANSSEA), Nagaland Civil Service Association (NCSA), Nagaland Secretariat Service Association (NSSA); among other Associations; Civil Societies, Church and Faith Based Organizations and Community Leaders as well as Ex-Parliamentarians and Ex-Legislators have also been invited to join the Launching Programme at 11 AM on October 14 at the State Banquet Hall in Chief Minister’s Residential Complex, Kohima.
