The Mizoram Governor – Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati today visited the beneficiaries of various centrally-sponsored schemes of Saitual district.
The Governor interacted with beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban (PMAY-U), Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) and Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA).
During the interaction, the beneficiaries highlighted that through these various centrally-sponsored schemes, they have been able to own a home and get access to LPG Connection.
Besides, the Governor has also encouraged the beneficiaries to help educate their peers and friends, regarding the various central schemes, so that more deserving citizens could avail benefits from such schemes.
