The Inspector General of Police (IGP) of Border Security Force (BSF) in Mizoram & Cachar – Binay Kumar Jha today called-on the Mizoram Governor – Hari Babu Kambhampati at the Raj Bhavan.

During the meeting, the BSF official apprised the Governor about the responsibilities of BSF in protection of the border area, for upholding peace and stability along the border region.

Besides, the Mizoram Governor has expressed gratitude towards the IGP, his staff officers, and the BSF personnel for their dedication and devotion to their duties.

He pointed-out several areas where he felt the 131 Bn BSF performed exemplarily well; and highlighted the much-appreciated humanitarian assistance performed under the leadership of Commandant – KS Nautiyal.

The Governor further lauded the performances of BSF by handing-over a Letter of Appreciation to the IGP on behalf of every ranks of 131 Bn BSF posted in Mizoram.
