The Assam cabinet to enhance the monthly remuneration of Assistant Professors working for fixed pay in provincialized colleges by Rs 55,000.
Besides, the state cabinet approved the guidelines for issuing caste certificates to hill tribes in the Plains and Plain Tribes in Hills.
The Saraf Hotel Enterprises (Hyatt Group of Hotels) will develop a hotel in Kaziranga to boost tourism, informed an official communique.
Caste certificates are to be provided to eligible persons by Deputy Commissioners (DCs) online, similar to SC/ST/OBC//MOBC Certificates under ‘Mission Bhumipatra’ to help them avail economic, educational, and employment benefits of state government.
In addition, the state cabinet will distribute scooters to 35,800 students who have passed the HS Examinations 2022.
Addressing the reporters, the state Education Minister – Ranoj Pegu, said a proposal for implementing the program at Rs 258.9 crore passed on Wednesday.
Altogether 29,7458 girl students who secured 1st division and 6,052 boy students who secured 75% and above in HS Examination 2022 will receive the scooters. The students will also attain financial assistance from the Department of Higher Education for registration and insurance.
