Assam : NFR To Organize ‘Rozgar Mela’ In Guwahati On October 22

Rozgar Mela is an initiative to fulfill the commitment to generating employment opportunities for the youth at various central government departments.

In line with the recruitment mission, the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) on Thursday announced that ‘Rozgar Mela’ to take place in Guwahati on October 22.

The initiative aims to create a scope for the aspirants willing to join the Central Government services.

“As part of the mission, new candidates will be offered appointment letters across the nation. PM Narendra Modi addressed these selected candidates virtually on October 20 at 11 AM in the designated locations,” said the CPRO of Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) – Sabyasachi De.

He added that the 1st tranche of new appointments comprises 75,000 vacancies, and the Ministry of Railways is one of the contributors to the initial tranche of appointees.

The programme will take place at Rang Bhavan Cultural Hall in Guwahati, confirmed the N.F Railway CPRO.

“The Central Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways and Ayush – Sarbananda Sonowal will hand over the appointment letters to the newly-selected candidates,” said Sabyasachi De.

Around 200 new recruiters from various government departments, including Railways, Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), etc., will receive appointment letters in this programme.

It is worth noting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi instructed to line out ten lakhs employment opportunities within 1.5 years in various central government departments.
