Union Minister – Parshottam Rupala Reviews Implementation Of Centrally-Sponsored Schemes In Nagaland

The Union Cabinet Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying – Parshottam Rupala, reviewed the centrally-sponsored Schemes with the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Kiphire and other officials on Friday.

During his visit to Kiphire, the Union Minister also had an insightful interaction with the beneficiaries of government schemes.

Besides, the Union Minister and the Nagaland Chief Minister – Neiphiu Rio, today flagged off the ‘Mobile Veterinary Units’ at Secretariat Plaza in Nagaland Civil Secretariat, Kohima.

Rupala is on a two-day maiden visit from October 20-21, 2022. On Thursday, the Union Minister held a review meeting with MLA & Advisor of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services and Women Resources Development – R. Khing, MLA & Advisor of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, Evaluation, Economics, and Statistics – L. Khumo, and Department Officials from Agriculture, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services and Fisheries & Aquatic Resources at Raj Bhavan in Kohima.

During a meeting chaired by the Agriculture Production Commissioner (APC) Y. Kikheto Sema, IAS, the Union Minister assured to consider the need-based proposals which will benefit the farming community and the entrepreneur.

He encouraged the Department Officials to use modern and scientific technology to ensure the welfare of citizens.

The Union Minister also called on the Nagaland CM at his official residence on Thursday, followed by a dinner hosted by Minister of Agriculture & Cooperation G. Kaito Aye in honor of the Union Minister at Hotel Vivor. Rupala will proceed to New Delhi in the evening.
