Assam : Union Minister – Sarbananda Sonowal Calls-On Youth To Serve With Dignity & Dedication

The Union Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways and Ayush – Sarbananda Sonowal joined the Rozgar Mela from Maligaon in Guwahati on Saturday, where more than 200 successful candidates received appointment letters.

Speaking at the occasion, the Union Minister said, “Today is a historic day for the youth of India. Under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as many as 75,000 youths joined the workforce. He rightly highlighted the role of our youth in shaping and building the new India during the Amrit Kaal is crucial for India to become an Atmanirbhar Bharat by 2047.”

“The government led by PM Modi remains deeply committed to empowering the youth and enabling them to become drivers of this new strong India,” – he added.

He called upon the youth to join forces and remain committed to the visions of dynamic leader Narendra Modi for the prosperity and growth of India.

Taking to Twitter, the Union Minister wrote “A historic day for youths of the nation, as Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi ji launches Rozgar Mela, a recruitment drive for 10 lakh personnel in various depts of Union Govt. Today, as part of the first phase, 75000 appointment letters were given. Honoured to ceremonially distribute appointment letters as part of Rozgar Mela in Guwahati. Guwahati MP Smt @oja_queen, Rangiya MLA Shri @Bhabesh_KalitaR, NF Railway GM Shri Anshul Gupta ji & other dignitaries were also part of the programme.

My heartfelt gratitude to Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi ji for initiating this recruitment drive on such an auspicious occasion. The motivation and confidence given by Modi ji to the youth will drive the journey of Aatmanirbhar Bharat in India’s Amrit Kaal. I urge all those who got appointment today to follow the ideal of service to the nation, service to the people. It is a golden opportunity for our youths to shine, and serve India with dignity and dedication,” – he added.

More than 200 new recruiters from various government departments, including Railways, Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), etc., received appointment letters in this programme.

It is worth noting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi instructed to line out ten lakhs employment opportunities within 1.5 years in various central government departments.
