Arunachal : Deputy CM Calls-On Governor; Stresses On Timely Completion Of Strategic ‘Miao-Vijoynagar Road Project’

The Deputy Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh – Chowna Mein, called on the Governor – Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) at Raj Bhavan on Wednesday to discuss various developmental projects of the state, including the completion of the strategic Miao-Vijoynagar Road project, and Parasuram Kund Project, among others.

The dignitaries also stressed the financial liabilities and ensured the timely implementation of the projects.

According to an official communique issued by the Raj Bhavan, the Governor noted that with the completion of the strategic road project, eco-tourism, wildlife tourism, adventure tourism, environmental and cultural tourism, etc., will be harnessed to their full potential.

In addition to the nation’s security, it is a lifeline to the people residing along the remote areas of Vijoynagar Administrative Circle.

The Governor, who initiated the setting up of amenities and beautification of the Parshuram Kund in Lohit District, said that the project will preserve, protect and promote the pilgrimage site and improve the amenities.

This will boost the economy of the people in the area by enhancing the tourist destination, he said.

He reiterated that the working season in the state has begun, and the work department must put in their best efforts to achieve the work target within the prescribed time frame.

The Governor advised the Deputy CM to direct the senior officials to sincerely monitor the developmental projects to instill a sense of accountability and responsibility amongst the officials.
