Agartala, October 27, 2022: Amit Khare, IAS, advisor to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with three other companions are arriving in Tripura for a three-day visit on October 28 i.e. Friday and leave on October 30 next.
Chandan Das, under-secretary to the government of Tripura on Thursday in a memorandum informed that Amit Khare, IAS, advisor to the Prime Minister of India along with his three other companions will arrive at MBB airport here tomorrow morning. The delegation of officials led by the advisor to the PM will visit Tripura State Museum, NIT Agartala and Matabari.
On the following day, Khare with his companions will visit Unakoti rock carvings tourist spot and have lunch at Kailashahar Dak Bunglow or Kumarghat PWD Rest House and return to NIT Agartala. On October 30 next, the delegates led by the advisor to the PM will visit Neermahal, have refreshment at Sagarmahal and return to NIT Agartala. After having lunch, they will depart for MBB airport.
The Director General of Police is requested to make necessary security arrangements for the guests during their visit in state. The CEO, Sonar Tari State Guest House is also requested to arrange two VIP suites along with additional suites rooms for accommodation of the guests. The DM and SP of Gomati and Unakoti districts, and Secretary of Tourism department are requested to make necessary arrangements for their visit at Matabari, Ujjayanta Palace and Neermahal.
It has been decided that Additional Director of Higher Education department Keshab Kar and Treasury Officer of Agartala Treasury – II will act as liaison officer to the guests during their visit to the state. They will also receive and see off the guests at MBB airport along with State Protocol Officer Animesh Dhar.
It is worthy to mention here that Prime Minister Modi was scheduled to visit the state on October 27 to campaign for the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party as well as inaugurate a bunch of projects and schemes. During his visit, he would have inaugurated the event of ‘Griha Praves’ (Home Entry) in which lakhs of beneficiaries were benefited under Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana. Apart from this, many foundation stones have been unveiled and inauguration of new projects, etc. But later, the Prime Minister’s visit was cancelled due to unknown reasons.
