The BJP Mizoram reiterated the prime importance of healthcare facilities and urged the state administration to concentrate on the sector, ensure timely interventions (treatment) and prevent the spread of ailments.
Addressing a press conference on Monday, the State BJP Spokesperson – Lalremsangi Fanai, noted that India, under the guidance of PM Narendra Modi, attained one of the top positions along the list of Healthcare Schemes & Policies.
“India has an excellent AB-PMJAY (Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri-Jan Arogya Yojana/Prime Minister National Health Protection Mission/PM Healthcare Scheme, but the Mizoram Government failed to implement the policies and provide healthcare services to the people.”
Fanai also mentioned that under AB-PMJAY, only 19,4859 families have registered, which confirms that the public is unaware of the facilities available.
She assured that Mizoram BJP will always work for the benefit of the public and will work towards educating the public about the benefits of the centrally-sponsored schemes.
