It is worth noting that the ‘Fit India Movement’ launched in 2019 aimed to generate awareness on fitness and various physical activities through focused campaigns, thereby encouraging indigenous sports. The movement intends to create a platform for the citizens to share information, drive awareness and encourage sharing of personal fitness stories.
