The Mizoram Governor – Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati, interacted with the cardiologists and cardiac surgeons from Sri Ramachandra Medical College (SRMC) in Chennai.

According to an official communique, the doctors will conduct a 3-day Medical Camp from November 10-12 at Civil Hospital in Lunglei.

The Mizoram Governor expressed gratitude toward the healthcare workers for their selfless contribution to Mizoram.

“More such medical camps will be organized across other districts shortly,” he stated.

The Mizoram Governor congratulated the Deputy Commissioner of Lunglei District – Kulothungan A, for successfully arranging a free medical camp for heart and cancer patients and delivering the facilities to their doorsteps.

The cardiologists and surgeons will join a group of Oncologists from Cachar Cancer Hospital and Research centre.

Nearly 150 plus heart and cancer patients will receive screening during the camp. Patients will receive further treatment at the designated centres, finalized by the doctors.
