A 3-day online training programme on ‘Building Resilience of Health Facilities’ is organized by the Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Mizoram in partnership with the National Institute of Disaster Management (NIDM), GeoHazards Society (GHS) and GeoHazards International (GHI) from November 9-11.
The online sessions will be carried out by experts with extensive experience in various aspects of hospital safety.
It will cover comprehensive topics such as hazards that can affect health facilities, preparedness, planning, structural and non-structural safety, the functionality of critical utilities of the hospitals, and preparation of Hospital Disaster Management Plans (HDMP).
Registered participants will be issued an e-certificate when the training programme is completed.
The Health & Family Welfare Department is taking the aspects of Hospital Safety very seriously and the Webinar will be a prelude to more preparedness programs in partnership with GeoHazards.
