The Mizoram Innovation Fair – ‘PUM 2022’, an innovation competition and exhibition concluded at the premises of ITI Campus in Aizawl on Friday.

During the function, the Chief Guest of the concluding ceremony and Minister of Labour Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (LESDE) – Lalchhandama Ralte, delivered a speech about the relentless work of the department even during the pandemic and how the beneficiaries received free rations.

He pointed out how major developed nations are highly skilled and how India is following in similar footsteps toward this direction. The Minister further encouraged the ITI students to focus on skill development for future employment.

Speaking on the occasion, the Secretary of LESDE Department – Lalramsanga Sailo noted the growing importance of skill development, and promoting one of the major objective of LESDE department.

The LESDE Director – Angela Zothanpuii highlighted that ‘PUM-2022’ was organized through World Bank funded schemes, namely – STRIVE & SANKALP, currently functioning under the ambit of LESDE department.
