Agartala, November 19, 2022: Eyeing to the assembly election in Tripura early next year, Bharatiya Janata Party national general secretary Vinod Tawde on Saturday directed the party ‘Karyakartas’ of working hard for the coming 75 days and nights in order to blossom Lotus flower again in Tripura.

Pradesh BJP on Saturday organized a crucial meeting under the banner of ‘Sanyukta Morcha’, where office-bearers of all the seven morchas from state-level, 10 organizational districts and 60 mandals (assembly constituencies) were present ahead of assembly polls in 2023 at the premises of Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan here in Agartala city.

Addressing the meeting, BJP national general secretary Tawde claimed that the saffron party will definitely form a government in the poll-bound state of Tripura as it is surrounded by Bangladesh in three directions.

He appealed to ‘karyakartas’ of Tripura BJP’s ‘Sanyukta Morcha’ meeting, the development works done by the double-engine government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji must be repeated for going forward. “I am sure that the BJP ‘karyakartas’ will again blossom Lotus flower in Tripura by working hard for the coming 75 days and nights”, he added.

In this meeting, party’s central leader Tawde was accompanied by Tripura BJP election prabhari Dr Mahendra Singh, Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, party’s state president Rajib Bhattacharjee, union minister of state Pratima Bhoumik, MP Rebati Tripura and others.

Earlier, speaking on the sidelines of the meeting, Pradesh BJP general secretary Papia Datta claimed that the ‘karyakartas’ of seven morchas had played a significant role in the last assembly election held in 2018 by paving a smooth path in making BJP win and form government for the first time in Tripura.

Datta coined “These ‘karyakartas’ or the office-bearers of seven morchas representing state, 10 organizational districts and 60 mandals are ‘Frontline Warriors’ for the saffron party”. She said “Assam’s Chief Minister and NEDA (North-East Democratic Alliance) Convenor Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma sounded poll bugle of assembly election in 2023 through ‘Booth Bijoy Abhiyan’ (Booth Victory Campaign) here in Agartala on November 07 last.”

Being asked about the Congress party on “Bharat Jodo Yatra”, Pradesh BJP general secretary Datta said that the grand old national party is making attempts to join the CPIM workers in the party. “This is the CPIM-led Left Front organization, which had abducted and killed thousands of Congress party workers in the past 35 years of communists’ reign in Tripura. But now, the Congress leadership is making all possible efforts to unite with CPIM”, she added.

Datta further claimed that the Congress party should need to hold “Congress Jodo Abhiyan” first as the masses of the country have witnessed internal fractions in the party organization.
