The Judge of Gauhati High Court – Justice Kakheto Sema, inaugurated the district court complex and e-Sewa Kendra at Longleng on Thursday.

In the inaugural ceremony, Justice Sema noted that a separate court complex will help the the judicial officers to function independently and fearlessly and encourage the advocates to dispense justice to the people.

He added that the introduction of e-Sewa Kendra in Longleng district will enable the lawyers & litigants to readily access to the status of their cases, and obtain orders and judgment, which will benefit the public at large and judicial officials and attoreys in general.

Earlier, the NJS registrar of Gauhati High Court, Kohima Bench – Neiko Akami, also addressed the programme.

The programme was chaired by Chumden Chang, NJS District & Session Judge, Longleng, and attended by Khrievono Seletsu, NJS, Civil Judge (Jr. Div.) /JMFC, Longleng, Advocates and staff of District Court Longleng.

Deputy Commissioner Longleng, Dharam Raj, and SDPO Longleng also attended the programme.
