Tripura BJP To Launch “Ghar Ghar Chalo Abhiyan” In 60 Assembly Constituencies From November 27

Agartala, November 26, 2022: Tripura Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party is launching a week-long “Ghar Ghar Chalo Abhiyan” programme in all the 60 assembly constituencies from Sunday next.

In a press conference at Pradesh BJP headquarters here in Agartala city on Saturday evening, Party’s state president Rajib Bhattacharjee said that the “Ghar Ghar Chalo Abhiyan” programme will commence from Sunday i.e. November 27 and continue till December 03 next in all the 60 assembly constituencies.

“In this week-long programme of BJP, Pristha Pramukhs, karyakartas from booths to state-level will participate and highlight the achievement of the government as well as specifically focus on the development constituency-wise among the residents. Not only this, BJP flag will be hoisted and sticker will be stuck at each and every house across the state”, he added.

Bhattacharjee said “Tomorrow’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ of Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be arranged in a bigger form which will start at 11 AM and 7,000 karyakartas will assemble in each assembly constituency. After hearing the words of PM Modi, the state and district-level leaders including MLAs and ministers will hold discussion followed by visiting of houses as part of ‘Ghar Ghar Chalo Abhiyan’ programme.”

Citing some of the instances, Pradesh BJP president said that the party state prabhari Dr Mahesh Sharma will lead at Suryamaninagar seat, Rajib Bhattacharjee at Bishalgarh seat, Deputy CM Jishnu Dev Varma at Charilam, former CM and Rajya Sabha MP Biplab Kumar Deb at Matabari, union minister of state Pratima Bhoumik at Krishnapur, etc.

Highlighting one of the biggest achievements, Bhattacharjee said that 3,18,415 beneficiaries are receiving a social pension of Rs 2,000 as per the commitment made in Vision Document and more 30,000 beneficiaries to be included. Moreover, each and every scheme introduced by the state and central governments is reaching to the people without any obstacles.

Speaking to reporters, Tripura Chief Minister Prof Dr Manik Saha said that the BJP-led government is maintaining complete transparency in its work and not a single corruption against the government can be pointed out.

“In 2018, the BJP government was established after many hardships. This present government had been working hard for the past four and half years. The fruits achieved by the people will be reintroduced among the common masses in each assembly constituency under ‘Ghar Ghar Chalo Abhiyan’ programme”, he added.

Dr Saha also claimed that the law and order situation has become better during BJP’s reign. This week-long programme will also focus on membership drive and after listening to ‘Mann Ki Baat’, karyakartas will hold a foot march for at least 1 KM.
