Agartala, November 26, 2022: Tripura Chief Minister Prof Dr Manik Saha on Sunday accolades Prime Minister Narendra Modi as “Peer of the Realm” for sharing profound knowledge with the millions of masses across the country through his “Mann Ki Baat”, an Indian radio programme.
On Sunday, Chief Minister Dr Saha listened to Prime Minister’s “Mann Ki Baat” at the premises of Netaji Subhash Vidyaniketan’s school ground here in Agartala city along with the Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) Dipak Majumder, Mandal president of 8-Town Bardowali assembly constituency Sanjay Saha, chairperson of AMC central zone Ratna Datta and karyakartas of Bharatiya Janata Party.
After hearing the “Mann Ki Baat” programme, Chief Minister thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that truly, he is a renowned personality. “For the entire month, we keep on waiting for the last Sunday as we would be able to hear from him through ‘Mann Ki Baat’. In this radio programme, Prime Minister Modi highlights the thoughts of the countrymen and presents innovative ideas. Everything he shares surprises the people with many new things as we come to know many things.”
“Today, Prime Minister Modi highlighted some noble thoughts of G-20 and its logo was developed by a Tanti person of Telangana state. An innovative road has been opened for all states and districts across the country to represent their self-identity before the entire country’s masses through Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’. Another new route will be opened through tourism platforms across the world. Apart from these, the diverse culture and tradition of India will be known to the people across the world through the G-20 summit”, he added.
Chief Minister also said “In his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ episode today, Modi ji highlighted ‘Muscular dystrophy’ and an institute has been opened in the Himalayas where people suffering from this disease are being given treatment. This is an amazing thing about which we were unaware of. He also highlighted the making of rockets in a cheaper way in the private sector and the country is prospering in space research works.”
Expressing happiness and gratitude on behalf of the masses of Tripura, Dr Saha said that he is making the countrymen aware of many things and boost the knowledge immensely.
