Tripura’s New Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu To Sworn-In On Thursday

Agartala, October 25, 2023: Indra Sena Reddy Nallu, the newly appointed Governor of Tripura, arrived in the state on Wednesday and received a warm welcome at Raj Bhavan Agartala. He will be sworn in as the 20th Governor of the North Eastern state on Thursday, according to the state government.

The swearing-in ceremony will be attended by Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, and other senior members of his cabinet, as well as top officials of the state administration.

Nallu succeeds Satyadeo Narayan Arya, who completed his tenure as the Governor of Tripura on Tuesday. Arya was given a ceremonial guard of honor and a farewell function at Raj Bhavan Agartala. He had assumed the charge of office in July 2021.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha praised the outgoing Governor for his dedicated service and noted the amicable relationship he maintained with the government. He also expressed his gratitude to Arya for his guidance and support.

The departing Governor shared a few words with the Chief Minister and wished him and the people of Tripura all the best for the future. He also thanked the state government and the people of Tripura for their cooperation and hospitality during his tenure.
