In a significant stride towards development, Road Transport & Highways Minister and BJP leader Nitin Gadkari yesterday announced that the construction of 20,000 crore rupees road projects will begin next year, connecting nine districts of the State of Mizoram.
He also added that the road will also connect Manipur and Nagaland in the country with neighbouring Myanmar.
Addressing a public meeting at the BJP Election Campaign at West Phaileng within Dampa Constituency in Mizoram, the Minister said that infrastructure is the most important element for development.
