Agartala, December 10, 2023: In a spirited celebration of cultural fusion and scenic splendor, the heartthrob of Indian cricket, Sourav “Dada” Ganguly, is set to enchant the landscapes of Tripura as the newly appointed Brand Ambassador for Tripura Tourism. Ganguly, the former Captain of the Indian Cricket Team is here to promote Tripura Tourism on both national and international platforms.
Ganguly is scheduled to visit Tripura on December 11, 2023, for a two-day promotional campaign, showcasing the diverse and scenic attractions the state has to offer. His itinerary includes visits to key tourist destinations, promotional events, and interactions with local authorities, Tripura’s Tourism minister Sushanta Chowdhury said in a press conference at Geetanjali Tourism Guest House here in Agartala city on Sunday afternoon.
The visit kicks off on December 11, with Ganguly’s arrival at MBB Airport, Agartala, at 06:00 PM. The day’s agenda includes a visit to the iconic Ujjayanta Palace, where an exchange of agreements and a press meet are scheduled between 06:30 PM and 07:20 PM. Later in the evening, Ganguly will have a courtesy meeting with the Chief Minister of Tripura, Dr Manik Saha at 07:30 PM.
On December 12, the campaign intensifies as Ganguly departs for Chabimura in Gomati district at 06:00 AM. The morning is dedicated to shooting at Chabimura, a picturesque location known for its stunning landscapes. The tentative schedule for shooting is from 08:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Afterward, Ganguly will depart for Agartala at 11:45 AM.
Upon his return to Agartala at 02:00 PM, Ganguly will enjoy lunch before engaging in more promotional activities, including shooting at Ujjayanta Palace. The whirlwind tour concludes with his departure for Kolkata at 07:55 PM.
This collaboration between Sourav Ganguly and Tripura Tourism is expected to significantly boost the visibility of the state’s tourism offerings, attracting both domestic and international travelers.
