In a significant development, the 13th session of 7th Legislative Assembly today passed Arunachal Pradesh (Re-organisation of Districts) (Amendment) Bill, 2024, for creation of two new districts – Keyi Panyor (Headquarters at Yachuli circle, Ter Gapin – Sam Sath area) & Bichom (Headquarters at Napangphung).

Arunachal Chief Minister Pema Khandu took to his official account to announce this news.

“The creation of two new districts is in the interest of better administration & fostering development. This will further ensure good governance & efficient delivery of government services & schemes,” says Khandu.

Furthermore, khandu expressed his gratitude to all the members of Assembly for their unanimous support in emabling the smooth passage of this bill.
