Arunachal’s Hillang Yajik Set To Represent India In Two International Bodybuilding Championships

Arunachal Pradesh’s Hillang Yajik has been selected to represent India in the upcoming 56th Asian Bodybuilding & Physique Sports Championship and the 15th WBPF World Bodybuilding & Physique Sports Championship.

Hailing from the Kurung Kumey district, Yajik will showcase her prowess in the women’s model physique and the swimsuit women physique events, as per information.

The selection trial, conducted by the Indian Body Builders Federation in collaboration with the Bodybuilding Association of Kerala in Ernakulam, Kochi, witnessed Yajik’s outstanding performance on May 11 and 12.

Yanu Kipa, the acting general secretary of the Arunachal Bodybuilding Association, confirmed the news and expressed pride in Yajik’s achievement.

Notably, The Asian Bodybuilding & Physique Sports Championship is scheduled to take place in Batam, Indonesia, from August 6 to 12.

On the other hand, the WBPF World Bodybuilding & Physique Sports Championship will be held in the Maldives from November 5 to 11.

Yajik’s previous success includes winning a silver medal in the women’s sports physique category at the 13th Federation Cup held in Goa this April.
