Agartala, June 10, 2024: In connection to the leaking of Answer key for conducting recruitment examination by the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC), one individual has been apprehended by the state police for their suspected involvement in the dissemination of exam answer keys.
Following the leak, the TTAADC administration has decided to postpone the recruitment examinations aimed at filling 110 vacant positions for sub-zonal development officers and deputy principal officers. According to statements made by West Agartala Police Station Officer-in-Charge Paritosh Das to the press, the incident was brought to light when Pradip Debbarma, a board member overseeing the recruitment exam, filed a complaint alleging the answer key had been leaked a day prior to the scheduled examination on June 9.
“The complaint implicated two individuals, Sujoy Ghosh and Chayan Saha,” stated Das. “Chayan Saha, a resident of Advisor Chowmuhani who operates a xerox shop, has been detained for questioning. It was revealed during preliminary interrogation that Saha received the question paper and answer sheet for duplication from Board Chairman Data Mohan Jamatia. The investigation suggests the leak originated from this source.”
