Imphal, July 29: The Sangai Ethnic Park in Manipur has been awarded the prestigious title of Asia’s Best Civic Building Architecture Design at the 2024 Asia Architecture Design Awards (AADA) in Bangkok.

Huidrom Design Studio, the creative force behind the project, received recognition for their exceptional contribution to the architectural landscape. The award celebrates the fusion of tradition and innovation in architecture, aligning with the “Emerging Asia” theme.

The Sangai Ethnic Park, showcasing Manipur’s rich cultural heritage, stood out among over 1,500 entries from various Asian countries. The award ceremony, held at SO/Bangkok, brought together architects, designers, and industry professionals to honor outstanding achievements in the field.

This accolade highlights the significance of the Sangai Ethnic Park as a cultural icon and a testament to the region’s architectural excellence.
