Arunachal Pradesh CM Khanu Meets Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu met with Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Wednesday, accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein.

Khandu expressed his gratitude to Sitharaman for presenting a futuristic Union Budget for FY2024-25 and sought her blessings for upcoming major projects in the state.

During the meeting, Khandu apprised Sitharaman of ongoing development projects in Arunachal Pradesh and requested her to consider establishing a regional office of the State Bank of India in the state.

He also sought continued support from the Ministry of Finance for infrastructure development in Arunachal Pradesh and shared a copy of the memorandum submitted to Prime Minister Modi.

The meeting aimed to strengthen ties between the state and central governments and foster development in Arunachal Pradesh.
