Workshop On Question Setting Held To Boost Educational Standards In Assam

Guwahati, Aug 1: In a bid to enhance educational standards in the state, the Board of Secondary Education (SEBA), Assam, in collaboration with Azim Premji University, Bengaluru, and in association with the State Education Council, Assam, organized a workshop on question setting at Royal Global University in Guwahati today.

The workshop brought together educators from 17 districts in Assam to develop comprehensive items for disciplines like English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science. The objective was to enhance educational standards and curriculum development for the benefit of students.

The collaborative effort demonstrated the commitment of SEBA, Azim Premji University, and the State Education Council to improving education in Assam. Such initiatives will have a positive impact on the state’s education system, ultimately benefiting students.

The workshop provided a platform for educators to share knowledge and expertise, leading to capacity building. The focus on developing comprehensive question items will help in assessing students’ knowledge and understanding more effectively.

With this initiative, SEBA and its partners have taken a significant step towards enhancing educational standards in Assam.
