Agartala, August 21, 2024: Reinforcements arrived in flood-hit Tripura on Wednesday as a special rescue team landed at Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport in Agartala city.

The team will assist the state’s disaster management efforts, providing much-needed support to tackle the severe flood situation affecting various parts of the state.

In the meantime, Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha also had a telephonic conversation with union Home minister Amit Shah and requested for additional rescue teams for deploying across the state.
