Jarken Gamlin Takes Oath As Arunachal Pradesh’s New Chief Information Commissioner

Itanagar, Sept 2: In a significant development, Major General Jarken Gamlin (Retd) has been sworn in as the new Chief Information Commissioner of Arunachal Pradesh. The oath of office was administered by Governor Lt. Gen. KT Parnaik (Retd) today.

Gamlin, a distinguished retired Army officer, replaces Rinchin Dorjee, whose tenure ended on August 12. He will serve as Chief Information Commissioner for a period of three years or until he attains the age of 65.

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu congratulated Gamlin on his new role, praising his leadership and vision. Gamlin’s appointment is expected to bring a new level of expertise and experience to the Arunachal Pradesh Information Commission.
