Kohima, September 4: The Centre has extended the ceasefire agreement with the National Socialist Council of Nagaland (K) – Niki, for a period of one year, effective from September 8.
The agreement was signed today, marking a significant development in the ongoing peace talks between the Centre and the NSCN(K).
The extension of the ceasefire agreement aims to maintain peace and stability in the region, and paves the way for further negotiations between the Centre and the NSCN(K).
