Itanagar, Oct 14: The Central government has released Rs 3,130.50 crore to Arunachal Pradesh as part of tax devolution, aimed at boosting the state’s capital expenditure and financing development and welfare-related expenditures.
Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Union Finance Minister for the release, which includes an advance instalment of Rs 1,565.25 crore.
Mein stated that this funding will accelerate the state’s capital spending and help realise the vision of Viksit Arunachal through timely policy interventions.
