Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha has reiterated the state government’s commitment to providing quality education, emphasizing the importance of continuous assessment and infrastructure development to ensure students’ academic success. During a review meeting on the draft Tripura School Quality Assessment and Accreditation Framework (TSQAAF), Saha, who also serves as the Education Minister, stressed that evaluating the overall level of education through continuous review is crucial.
The TSQAAF aims to identify educational and infrastructural problems and deficiencies in school complexes and take remedial measures. Education Department Special Secretary Raval Hemendra Kumar outlined the framework, highlighting its potential to improve the state’s education system.
The Tripura government has made significant strides in education, including adopting NCERT curriculum and syllabi, shifting school timings, and introducing vocational subjects in secondary schools. With the TSQAAF, the state aims to further enhance the quality of education and ensure students achieve good results.
