In a significant crackdown on narcotics trafficking, Assam Rifles, in collaboration with the Excise and Narcotics Department of Mizoram, recovered 129.35 grams of Heroin No. 4 valued at Rs 90.545 lakhs in the general area of Zote, Champhai District, Mizoram.

One Myanmarese national was apprehended during the operation, highlighting the ongoing efforts to curb the illicit drug trade in the region.
