The Indian Youth Congress (IYC) organized a candlelight march in Delhi on Sunday to protest the ongoing ethnic violence in Manipur. The protestors called on the central government to take immediate and decisive action to end the crisis in the northeastern state.

The march, which began at the IYC office on Raisina Road, saw participants holding candles and a banner urging for peace and justice in Manipur. While the march was intended to proceed towards Jantar Mantar, it was halted by the police before reaching its destination.

The demonstration highlighted concerns over the escalating ethnic clashes in Manipur, which have resulted in significant loss of life and widespread damage. The IYC leaders demanded that the government take swift steps to restore peace and protect the people of Manipur.
