Nagaon, Nov 25: Assam Police will form a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the brutal murders of four people, including three members of the same family, at Gorajan village in Nagaon district. The tragic incident occurred on Friday night, prompting authorities to intensify their efforts to solve the case.

Special Director General of Police Harmeet Singh, who visited the crime scene, confirmed that forensic teams and the CID had already collected important evidence, including blood samples and fingerprints. Singh added that the SIT, led by Nagaon Superintendent of Police Swapnaneel Deka, will take charge of the investigation to uncover the details behind the murders and bring the perpetrators to justice.
