Assam Rifles, in coordination with Mizoram Police, has seized a large quantity of Methamphetamine tablets valued at Rs 68.03 crore in Zokhawthar, Mizoram. The operation, conducted on December 2, 2024, was part of ongoing efforts to combat the illegal drug trade in the region.

This seizure marks a significant success in the fight against drug trafficking in the northeastern states. Authorities are now investigating the origin and intended destination of the narcotics.
