Manipur: Over 2,000 Army Personnel Searching For Missing Man; Tracker Dogs, Drones Deployed

Imphal, Dec 3: Over 2,000 personnel from the Indian Army have been mobilized in a search operation to locate Laishram Kamalbabu Singh, a Meitei man missing for over a week. Singh, a works supervisor employed by a contractor for the Military Engineering Services (MES), was last seen at the Leimakhong Military Station in Imphal West.

Originally from Assam’s Cachar district, Singh had been residing in Khukrul, Imphal West. The Army has deployed tracker dogs and drones to assist in the search. Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh has urged military authorities to take full responsibility for finding the missing man.
