Swami Adhokshjanand Devtirath, a prominent Hindu seer, has praised the Assam government’s decision to ban the public consumption of beef in hotels, restaurants, and community gatherings. The ban was introduced after amending an existing law during a Cabinet meeting last week.

Swami Adhokshjanand expressed his approval of the move, stating, “I appreciate the ban on beef consumption in public spaces, including social and religious gatherings.” He also urged the chief ministers of other states to implement similar measures, advocating for the promotion of cultural and religious values across the country.
