The Border Security Force (BSF) in Tripura has seized contraband, rescued trafficked cattle, and arrested several individuals involved in illegal activities along the Indo-Bangladesh border.
The BSF apprehended one Nigerian national, three Bangladeshi nationals, and an Indian individual suspected of being involved in infiltration attempts. Additionally, contraband items including Ganja and Phensedyl, valued at ₹3,16,141, were seized. Several cattle being trafficked across the border were also rescued during the operations.
These actions are part of the BSF’s ongoing efforts to ensure border security and combat illegal smuggling and trafficking.
