In a vibrant celebration of Manipur’s diverse heritage, Chief Minister N. Biren Singh inaugurated the Manipur Indigenous People’s Cultural Exchange Festival 2024 on Friday. The event, held under the theme “Manipur United by Diversity”, showcased the rich cultural tapestry of the state, highlighting its unity and resilience.
The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of embracing the state’s cultural diversity as a foundation for a brighter and harmonious future. “Let this festival inspire us to embrace our diversity and work together for a brighter and harmonious future,” he shared on X, the social media platform.
The festival, organized by the Indigenous People’s Forum in collaboration with the Tourism Department and the local community of Chadong, featured traditional performances, craft displays, and cultural exchanges. The event aims to promote cultural understanding and foster unity among the various indigenous communities of Manipur.
