BRO Steps Up India-Myanmar Border Fencing Work Near Manipur’s Moreh: PRO Defence

Imphal, Dec 14: The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) has intensified its efforts to construct fencing along the India-Myanmar border near Moreh town in Manipur’s Tengnoupal district. This move is aimed at enhancing border security.

India shares a 1,643 km border with Myanmar, of which 398 km passes through Manipur. The BRO has begun work to erect fencing in the Moreh area, which is a key location for strengthening security and preventing illegal cross-border activities.
