Assam Rifles, in a joint operation with the Excise and Narcotics Department of Mizoram, seized 21.78 grams of Heroin No 4, valued at Rs 15.24 lakh, on December 14, 2024, in the Zote area of Champhai district.

The operation led to the arrest of one individual, who is now under investigation. The successful operation is part of continued efforts by Assam Rifles and local authorities to combat drug trafficking in the region, highlighting their ongoing commitment to tackling the growing narcotics issue in Mizoram.
