Gangtok, Dec 18: A key meeting was held on Tuesday to finalize the modalities for the 16th Finance Commission’s visit to Sikkim, scheduled for early next year. The meeting, chaired by Chief Secretary V B Pathak, focused on logistical arrangements, budgeting, and coordination for hosting the 13-member delegation.

Officials reviewed important details such as travel arrangements and the scheduling of official meetings. Pathak also set up several committees to ensure the smooth execution of the visit, aiming for a seamless experience for both the Finance Commission and the state government.
