Union Home Minister Amit Shah to Perform ‘Bhoomi Pujan’ for Construction of New HQ for Tripura BJP on December 22

Agartala, December 19, 2024: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on December 22 will lay the foundation stone and perform the ‘bhoomi pujan’ for the construction of a state-of-the-art four-storeyed BJP office at Nandannagar in Agartala. This modern facility will be built on two kani land and will serve as the state BJP headquarters.

BJP Sadar District President Asim Bhattacharya accompanied by Barjala Mandal President Mukul Roy and party workers visited the construction site on Thursday. Bhattacharya informed reporters that the new office will include a guest house and parking facilities. “The Chief Minister, the state BJP president, and all party leaders will be present at the foundation stone and bhoomi pujan ceremony on December 22,” he said.

Bhattacharya emphasized the significance of the new office for the party’s activities. “Once the construction work is completed, all the activities of the Bharatiya Janata Party will be held from this office. We have set a target to complete the construction within two years,” he added. He also urged everyone to attend the program on December 22.

Barjala Mandal President Mukul Roy expressed the excitement of party workers regarding the commencement of the office’s construction. “The party workers are very happy about the start of the work of this long-awaited office. This joy has doubled as the work will be initiated by the Union Home Minister of the country,” Roy remarked.

The new BJP office is expected to enhance the party’s operations and provide a modern facility for its members and activities in the state.
