In a joint operation, the Border Security Force (BSF) and Government Railway Police (GRP) arrested three Bangladeshi nationals attempting to cross the Indo-Bangladesh border illegally in Tripura. The detained individuals were found in possession of Indian currency worth Rs. 6960 and 236 Bangladeshi Taka.

In another operation, BSF troops foiled several smuggling attempts, seizing contraband items worth ₹2,69,567. Among the seized goods was ₹3050 in Indian currency, and one suspect was arrested with Eskuf.
