Aizawl, Dec 24: In a significant move to support child welfare, Hari Babu Kambhampati, the Governor of Mizoram, has sanctioned Rs. 1.3 lakh from his discretionary funds to assist 13 orphanages and homes in Aizawl District. Each institution will receive Rs. 10,000 to enhance care and support for vulnerable children.
The funds were handed over by Er. Lalhriatpuia, Deputy Commissioner of Aizawl District, on behalf of the Governor. The beneficiary institutions are:
1. Thutak Nunpuitu Team (Muanna Veng)
2. Hermon Children Home (Durtlang)
3. Muanna In Boys Home (Mualpui)
4. Gan Sabra Society (Zonuam)
5. Bethani Children’s Home (Sihhmui)
6. Motherless Babies Home (Khatla)
7. Abundant Life Home (Durtlang)
8. SA Motherless Babies (Tuikual)
9. Hmangaihna In (Durtlang)
10. Ferrando Children’s Home (Durtlang)
11. Rephidim Home (Laipuitlang)
12. Hmangaihte Run (Zemabawk)
13. Spastic Society of Mizoram
