Security forces conducted search operations and area domination in Muallam Village, Churachandpur District on Saturday. During the operation, 1 INSAS Excalibur rifle with one magazine, 1 country-made 9mm pistol with one magazine, 1 single-barrel rifle with a magazine, 3 INSAS ball round ammunition were recovered.

In a separate operation on Saturday, security forces conducted a successful operation in Saivom Village, Tengnoupal District, recovering a significant cache of arms, ammunition, and explosives.

The seized items include .303 rifles with 2 magazines, 1 country-made 12-bore single-barrel gun, 1 country-made Pompi gun, 7 IEDs (big and medium), 5 hand grenades, 5 Pompi ammunition, 40 detonators, 60 live rounds of ammunition, 3 mine detonators and 1 Motorola radio set with 5 chargers

The operation aimed to enhance security and ensure the safety of the region.
