Gyalshing, Jan 4: Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang visited Tashiding (Lasso) on Saturday to pay his respects to the late Thutop Bhutia, former Minister and MLA.

During his visit, the Chief Minister extended heartfelt condolences to the grieving family and expressed his sympathy, offering prayers for their strength in this challenging time. He also prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.

The tribute ceremony was attended by Tshering T. Bhutia, Minister-cum-Area MLA; Anita Rai, Zilla Up Adhyakshya of Gyalshing; Sudesh Kumar Subba, MLA of Maneybung-Dentam; former MLAs, Chairmen, Advisors; Tenzing D. Denjongpa, DC of Gyalshing; Sonam Wangdi Bhutia, ASP of Gyalshing, along with district officers and local residents.
