Agartala, January 06, 2025: In a proud moment for Tripura, students from the state have shone brightly at a national-level competition held in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, securing awards in three of the six categories. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the awardees, emphasizing their achievements as a testament to the state’s commitment to quality education.
“I congratulate all the students of the state for winning awards in three out of six categories in this prestigious competition,” Dr. Saha remarked.
Nabarup Bhattacharya, a Class 9 student of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Vidya Mandir clinched the first place in the dance category. Drisha Lodh, a Class 11 student of Melaghar English Medium Higher Secondary School, secured the second place in the theatre category, while Manojit Debnath from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar English Model School, Anandnagar, won second place in instrumental music.
Highlighting the significance of their accomplishments, Dr. Saha stated, “The success of these talented students has brought national recognition to the pioneering work being done in Tripura’s education sector. It is a proud moment for the state.”
The Chief Minister also extended his best wishes to all participants from Tripura competing in the state art festival. “I wish a bright future to all the participants who continue to represent the spirit and talent of Tripura,” he added.
The students’ achievements highlight Tripura’s growing prominence in fostering excellence in arts and education, bringing laurels to the state on a national platform.
