Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan Offers Prayers At Kamakhya Temple In Guwahati

Guwahati, Jan 9: Union Minister for Agriculture, Farmers Welfare, and Rural Development, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, visited the Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati on Thursday, accompanied by his wife. The couple offered prayers at the temple, seeking blessings from Goddess Kamakhya. Upon their arrival, they were warmly received by the temple administration.

Following the visit, Chouhan addressed the media, wishing for the prosperity and well-being of the nation. “May Goddess Kamakhya bless everyone with health, happiness, and prosperity. I pray for the continued progress and harmony of our country,” he said.

The Kamakhya Temple, perched atop Nilachal Hills in Assam, is one of the oldest and most revered Tantric worship centers, dedicated to Goddess Kamakhya. It holds immense spiritual significance for devotees, particularly those following the Kulachara Tantra Marga tradition.
